Jan. 5 2010. The Council of Partido Kalikasan Local Leaders has approved the convening of our 2nd National Assembly. Originally set for December, this has now been moved to March 20-21 2010. Since participation in the National Assembly will be limited to delegations coming from all PK groups, an online process of the 2nd General Assembly (GA) has been set-up to involve all individual members of the party in the consultations and discussions on the agenda. More importantly, all 17 PK groups are expected to convene their individual and local assemblies between February to March for consultation and to mandate their respective delegates to the national assembly.

Dec 1 2009. Today is the deadline of filing of candidacy for the 2010 national
elections. As candidates and political parties file their intent to run
and field candidates, they also submit their program of governance --
their promise to the people of what we can expect out of their service
in government if given the mandate in 2010 elections. As a response to this, Partido Kalikasan launches its GREEN MONITORING and GREEN RATING CAMPAIGN!

November 26 2009. We
call for justice and active non violence (ANV) to resolve the root
causes of this tragedy permanently! We warn against all forces that
will take advantage of this situation to instigate any actions to stop
the elections 2010 from happening; depriving Filipinos of our
democratic rights for change.

Nov 15 2009. Partido
Kalikasan welcomes the decision of the greens in Zambales to field a candidate
for Governor in 2010. Larry “Padz” Pangan who heads Partido
Kalikasan in Zambaels has filed his candidacy for Governor of Zambales carrying
a strong Green Agenda for the Province. Zambales is one of the most vulnerable
provinces to the ill effects of climate change and other ecological
catastrophes. It is not any wonder why there is a need to have a GREEN GOVERNOR
in ZAMBALES.
